FORUM GA4-2

My name is Luz Maryury Acosta Ferro, apprentice of the agro-business management technologist of the Sena

● What was the result of the experience?

An experience where I had to be flexible and adapt to a new situation at work was when my team went through a restructuring due to changes within the company. There was a change in internal processes and the way we interacted with clients. Instead of resisting the new structure, I decided to embrace it and learn the new tools and methods that were being proposed.

The result of this experience was very positive. Thanks to my ability to adapt quickly, I was able to lead my team through the transition and help them adopt the new processes. The results were evident in the improvement of internal communication and increased efficiency in customer service. This also created a more collaborative work environment, as we all shared a willingness to learn and grow together.

● How did your flexibility and adaptability help you to deal with the situation?

My flexibility and adaptability were crucial. They allowed me to maintain a positive attitude, which influenced the rest of the team. By embracing the change openly, I was able to learn and apply the new tools more effectively, reducing resistance to change within the group.

● Would you change anything in order to deal in a better way with it?

If I could change anything about that experience, I might have spent more time at the beginning listening to the concerns of other team members. Although I adapted quickly, by listening to their opinions and concerns, I could have better anticipated challenges and addressed some emotional barriers that emerged during the transition

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

Crime and punishment in Colombia is a complex issue that reflects deep social inequalities, historical violence, and challenges within the judicial system. In a country where criminality is often linked to factors such as poverty, lack of opportunities, and corruption, it is crucial to understand that crime does not arise in a vacuum. Marginalization and social exclusion play a fundamental role in perpetuating these acts. Punishment in Colombia has traditionally been punitive, focusing on imprisonment. However, this approach has proven insufficient to address the roots of the problem. Social reintegration and alternatives to punishment are essential to break the cycle of violence. It is necessary to implement policies that not only punish but also provide educational and employment opportunities for those who have committed crimes, allowing them to reintegrate into society constructively. In conclusion, a reflection on crime and punishment in Colombia must consider not only retri...
